The Canon USA, Inc. is now introducing the new Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera featuring fast eight fps continous shooting, 18-megapixel resolution and Full HD video recording with variable frame rates and manual exposure control.

With the new EOS 7D, Canon is also announcing three new lenses:

  • EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM- the 1st SLR camera lens to feature Hybrid Image Stabilization
  • EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
  • EF-S 18-135mm/3.5-5.6 IS Lenses.

Canon is also launching the new WFT-E5A wireless file transmitter now exclusive only for EOS 7D Digital SLR camera. It really offers professional photographers a wide range of digital connectivity options including IEEE802.11a/b/g and Ethernet which is ideal for commercial and studio work.

The Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR camera is scheduled to be released by the end of September and will be sold out at estimated retail price of $1,699. The Canon’s EF 28-135mm f/3.5-.6 IS USM zoom lens is estimated to be $1,899. Lastly, the Canon WFT-E5A wireless transmitter is scheduled to be released in early as November and will be sold at estimated price of $699.99.
